Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

2  cups uncooked pasta

1 1/2  pounds lean ground meat

1/2  pound  breakfast sausage

1  medium onion, chopped

1/2  teaspoon salt

1/2  teaspoon black pepper

1  jar pizza sauce

1  can tomato sauce, 8 oz can

1  can tomato paste, 6 oz can

1/2  teaspoon Imperial sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2  teaspoon dried oregano

2  tablespoons of Everything but the Pizza seasoning

2 1/2  cups shredded mozzarella cheese

12-15  slices pepperoni

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

In a large cast iron skillet or oven proof skillet cook brown the beef and sausage over medium high heat for 6-8 minutes. Stir to break up the meat. Drain off grease then add salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl combine pizza sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, garlic salt and oregano, stir well. Add cooked pasta to the bowl then the meat. Mix together well.

In the same skillet you cooked the meat spread half of the mixture in it. Top with 1 cup of cheese. Add the other half of the meat mixture and remaining cheese. Top with Pepperoni.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.
