Chicken Seasoning

Ingredients

¼ cup mustard powder

¼ cup herbes de Provence

1 Tablespoon onion powder

1 Tablespoon garlic powder

1 Tablespoon black pepper

1 Tablespoon sea salt

1 teaspoons dillweed

2 teaspoons dried parsley

Instructions

Add all ingredients to small bowl and stir together.  Use 1 – 2 teaspoons per chicken breast.  Can also used as a dry rub or added to a marinade.

 

Steak Seasoning

¼ cup crushed peppercorns

¼ cup coarse salt

2 Tablespoons  onion powder

2 Tablespoons garlic powder

1 Tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes

2 teaspoons dry mustard powder

Add all ingredients to small bowl and stir.  Rub all over steaks about a half hour before grilling.  Steaks should be at room temperature before adding rub.

 

Rib Rub

1/3 cup dark brown Imperial sugar

2 Tablespoons sea salt

2 Tablespoons course black pepper

2 Tablespoons garlic powder

1 Tablespoons smoked paprika

Add all ingredients to small bowl and stir together.  Generously rub on both sides of ribs and let stand for about 30 minutes before grilling.

 

Blackened Seasoning

1/3 cup paprika

2 Tablespoons sea salt

2 Tablespoons onion powder

2 Tablespoons garlic powder

1 Tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 Tablespoon black pepper

1 Tablespoon dried or freshly chopped thyme

1 Tablespoon dried oregano

Combine all ingredients to small bowl and stir.  Use 1 Tablespoon per pound of shrimp, fish or chicken.  Rub seasoning into protein and coat well.  Let sit for about a half hour before cooking.
