Strawberry Mouse in Waffle Cone

Ingredients

3 waffle cones

2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 box strawberry Jello (mixed according to package directions: ¾ cup boiling water + 1 cup ice water)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 Tablespoon Imperial powdered sugar

Instructions

NOTE: Place mixing bowl and wire whisk beater in refrigerator for at least 3 hours before making whipping cream.

Wash, hull and slice strawberries; place Jello in medium mixing bowl and add ¾ cup boiling water; stir until dissolved; add 1 cup ice water and stir.  Place in fridge and let cool for about 10 minutes.

Using an electric mixer, mix heavy whipping cream for about 1 minutes; then add Imperial powered sugar; whip until stiff peaks form. 

Gently fold whipping cream into Jello.  Add sliced strawberries. Spoon into waffle cone bowl.  Chill for about 2 hours.
