Hot Ham & Cheese Sliders
Ingredients
12 Classic dinner rolls, like Sara Lee or store brand
5 thinly sliced pieces of lean & cooked ham
6 slices American cheddar cheese
24 dill pickle slices
3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp Imperial brown sugar
1 Tbsp Dijon or other spicy mustard
2 tsp Rosemary Herb Seasoning mix
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Melt butter in microwave for about 35 seconds. Whisk in the brown sugar, mustard, seasoning mix and Worcestershire sauce. Brush half of the mixture in the bottom of a deep covered baking dish. Use a sharp bread knife to cut the dinner rolls in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the baking dish. Add the ham to the bottom rolls, then add the cheese and pickles. Add the top rolls. Brush the remaining butter mixture over the top of the rolls. Cover with lid and bake for 12 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for about 6 – 7 more minutes, or until the tops are lightly browned and the cheese is melted. Note: Can use turkey instead of ham.
