Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
1 16 oz jar of marshmallow puff
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
5 cups crispy rice cereal
1 12 oz pkg butterscotch chips
1 12 oz pkg semisweet chocolate chips
Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Instructions
In a large saucepan melt butter and marshmallow puff on medium heat, stirring to mix well. Remove from heat and add cinnamon and peanut butter. Mix well until marshmallow puff is no longer white.
Gradually add cereal and mix until well-coated.
Spread into the prepared pan. Press down to evenly spread. I use a spatula to pat down. Set aside.
In a small bowl microwave the butterscotch and chocolate chips in 20 second intervals until creamy. May have to add a teaspoon of cream. Spread over the cereal mixture. Use a spatula to spread evenly.
Cover and refrigerate until the chocolate sets. About 15-20 minutes. You can put it in the freezer to set faster.
Cut into squares.
