Jello Cranberry Salad

Ingredients

1 3oz box of jello ( strawberry, raspberry, cherry)

1  cup of boiling water 

1/2  chopped apple

1  8 oz pineapple tidbits, drained but reserve juice

1  small can Mandarin oranges, drained

1/2  cup chopped nuts

6  oz or 3/4 cup chopped cranberries 

1/2  cup sugar

Instructions

Add sugar and washed cranberries in a food processor and pulse into small pieces. 

Add boiling water in a bowl with jello.  Whisk until dissolved. Use reserved pineapple juice and water to make 3/4 cup and add to jello. Stir in apple, pineapple, mandarin oranges, cranberries and nuts.  

  Refrigerate covered for 4 hours or overnight.  Stir with a fork before serving.
