1/2 lb extra lean ground meat
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package taco seasoning, divided
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 cup refried beans
1 can (15oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (4oz.) chopped green chiles, drained
1 cup chunky salsa
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend,
1 teaspoon canola oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
In a skillet add ground meat, onions and1 tablespoon of taco seasoning. Cook until meat is cooked. Drain off grease.
In a bowl mix refried beans and all but 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning.
Roll out one pie crust to a 12-inch circle. Transfer to an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan. Spread the refried bean mixture over the pie crust leaving a one-inch space from the edge. Layer the black beans, chiles, cheese and salsa on top of refried beans.
Roll out the other pie crust to a 13-inch circle. Place crust over the cheese. Seal the edges together and flute the edges. Brush with oil and sprinkle the tablespoon of taco seasoning over the top.
Bake for 15-17 minutes.
OPT You can add more cheese on top after it's done. Also you can use more salsa and add sour cream if you want.
