Strawberry Buttercream

Ingredients

2 sticks salted butter, softened

3 ½ - 4 cups powdered sugar

¼ cup plus 1 Tablespoon strawberry jam (homemade or store bought)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

In stand mixing bowl, or large mixing bowl, combine butter and salt and beat until fluffy; gradually add powdered sugar and strawberry jam, alternating, beginning and ending with powdered sugar; mix until combined after adding each addition.  Add vanilla extract and mix well.  Refrigerate any leftovers, storing in airtight container.
