Tea Cakes

Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour

2 1/2 cups granulated sugar

2 sticks salted butter, softened

4 eggs

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. In medium mixing bowl; Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Cream together until fluffy; add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add vanilla and almond extract. Add 1/2 of dry mixture and beat until combined. Add remaining dry mixture and mix until well combined. Roll out cookie dough on well floured surface, or use a medium or large cookie scoop to scoop out dough and place on a silicon mat, or a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool and store in air tight container to keep them fresh.
