Frosted Lemonade

Ingredients

1/2 cup Imperial sugar

2 1/2 cups iced water + 1/2 cup room temp water

1 cup lemon juice

6 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream

 

Instructions

Combine sugar and 1/2 cup room temp water in a small saucepan and cook until sugar dissolves and mixture is clear. Remove from heat and cool completely.

Combine the lemon juice, 2 1/2 cups of iced water and the sugar syrup in a pitcher. This needs to be cold. Refrigerate, if necessary,

For a serving, combine 1 cup lemonade and a little over 2 cups of ice cream in a blender. Blend until smooth.

This recipe makes three servings.
