Creamy Tuscan Sausage Pasta
Ingredients
8 oz Penne Pasta
1 pound Italian sausage
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup parmesan cheese (or your choice of cheese)
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes
2 cups heavy cream
Instructions
Cook pasta as directed on the box.
In a large skillet cook sausage till it is no longer pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet where you cooked the sausage, add the chicken broth, garlic powder, sun dried tomatoes and Italian seasonings. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream and cheese and cook until combined.
Add the cooked sausage back in the skillet and then add the spinach. Cook until the spinach is done ( about 5 minutes).
